First impressions matter, and rising R&B artist rache. makes hers count. With the release of her debut EP Let Me Introduce Myself, the New York City talent delivers a project that feels both personal and purposeful.

The five track EP serves as a clear introduction to her sound and identity. Each song reveals a different emotional layer, blending soulful R&B textures with honest storytelling. Rather than presenting a polished façade, rache. leans into vulnerability, allowing listeners to see the person behind the music.

Production across the project comes from collaborators including EDY and SenzaBloom, helping shape a sound that balances modern R&B with subtle melodic depth. Every track on the EP is written by rache. herself, with the exception of a contribution from songwriter Adrian Herrera.

More than simply a debut release, Let Me Introduce Myself acts as both a statement and a preview. It marks the moment rache. formally steps into the spotlight while hinting at the artistic direction she plans to explore in the future. The project feels intentional, offering listeners a first look at the emotional world she is building through her music.

To support the release, rache. is expanding the project visually and through live performance. She is set to perform on Red Couch Show from her hometown of New York City, alongside the release of two music videos for standout tracks “Take My Time” and “Thinking Of You.”

Music has been part of rache.’s life long before this debut. Coming from a classical piano background, she began writing songs at just sixteen years old in her childhood bedroom. During those early years she also developed her songwriting craft by working with other artists, penning tracks such as “So Good” by Tia Kofi, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World, and “Try Me” by Kennen. Those songs earned notable editorial playlist placements including New Music Friday and A-List Pop, signaling her ability to create songs that resonate beyond the studio.

While many of her early works were performed by other artists, 2023 marked a turning point. It was then that rache. realized her true calling was not only to write songs, but to perform them herself.

As a first generation LGBTQ+ American, rache. is determined to bring representation and authenticity to her work. Her music reflects a commitment to speaking openly about difficult experiences and personal growth, with the goal of becoming the kind of artist she needed while growing up.

Earlier this year she released her debut single “Patient,” a deeply personal track exploring the aftermath of surviving assault. The song quickly found an audience, surpassing 40,000 streams across 138 countries within its first month and landing on playlists including YAMS, The Blues Project, and Gendirect Music.

With Let Me Introduce Myself, rache. begins a new chapter, one where her voice is front and center. The project introduces an artist unafraid to confront difficult subjects while building a sound rooted in honesty and emotional depth.

If this debut is any indication, rache.’s story is only just beginning.
