Ana Sky’s “Desire” Signals the Arrival of a Powerful New Voice in Pop

Ana Sky is one of those rare newcomers whose presence feels both effortless and undeniable.

Raised in Los Angeles, the young singer songwriter is beginning to carve out a space defined by emotional clarity and musical restraint. Her voice moves with a silky warmth that draws listeners inward, while her lyrics reveal an honesty that feels strikingly personal. Love, loss, self discovery and the complicated moments in between form the emotional backbone of her work.

Her newest release, “Desire,” continues that story. The single leans into feeling rather than spectacle, allowing Sky’s voice to carry the emotional weight of the song. There is a quiet confidence in the way she delivers each line, turning vulnerability into something powerful rather than fragile.

Behind the scenes, Sky is working alongside acclaimed producer AC Burrell, a creative force known for collaborating with legendary songwriter Diane Warren and artists such as Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Beyoncé, Zendaya, and Post Malone. Together they are shaping a series of releases scheduled throughout 2025, each one building toward Sky’s debut EP expected in early 2026. The collaboration brings together two distinct strengths. Burrell’s experience with some of pop’s most recognizable voices provides a polished sonic foundation, while Sky’s songwriting introduces a perspective that feels intimate and distinctly her own. The result is music that feels modern but rooted in timeless emotional storytelling.

Sky’s artistic world extends beyond sound. She is also developing a strong visual identity in partnership with creative director Ron Dadon, whose work with artists and cultural figures such as Grace VanderWaal, Zendaya, and Hailey Bieber has helped define contemporary pop aesthetics. The collaboration signals that Sky’s vision is not limited to the studio. It is part of a broader creative universe.

Momentum is already building around her name. During New York Fashion Week she was honored with the Emerging Artist Award at the Fashion Media Awards, where she performed her debut single “Loving You Is Hard” for an audience of industry leaders and creatives. The performance offered a glimpse of the emotional connection she brings to the stage. For Ana Sky, this moment feels less like a breakthrough and more like the beginning of a long arc. A series of singles will continue to arrive through 2025, leading to her first EP in early 2026 and a run of live performances that will introduce her music to audiences around the world.

With “Desire,” Ana Sky makes one thing clear. Her voice is not simply another addition to the pop landscape. It is the start of a story that listeners will want to follow closely.
